How to grow Snake Cream
Taste
Seb's take
Cream Caramel crossed with Black Domina, taking the former's sweet, doughy taste and the latter's frank pungency in more or less equal measure. The high is energising and uplifting, with enough of a creative streak to suit an afternoon of painting or brainstorming. A robust, bulky grower, mostly sativa.
Where it comes from
Hero Seeds crossed Cream Caramel with Black Domina for Snake Cream, and the two parents pull in usefully different directions. Cream Caramel lends the sweet, doughy character; Black Domina the strong, frank pungency and the resin. The result is an 80% sativa hybrid — robust and bulky in growth, lively in effect — that keeps the best of both sides in more or less equal measure. A characterful pairing, the sweetness of one held in check by the depth of the other, and a plant that leans energetic despite the heavyweight indica in its background.
Nose & flavour
The record points to a nose drawn straight from the parents: the sweet, doughy character of Cream Caramel over the strong, pungent smell of Black Domina — a rich, bakery-sweet top end grounded by a frank, resinous base. A pleasing contrast rather than a muddle, the two sides complementing each other. Loud enough to notice, sweet enough to enjoy.
The high
Energising and uplifting, with a creative streak the record singles out — the sort of effect that suits an afternoon given over to music, painting or turning ideas over. It leans firmly to the sativa side of the family, lifting the mind rather than settling the body. Bright, engaged company for occupied hours rather than idle ones; a plant to work alongside rather than wind down with.
Growing it
THC runs 15–20%. Beyond that the record is sparing on the numbers — no flowering time, height or yield is set down, so I will not invent them. What it does tell us is temperament: a robust, bulky grower with the vigour you would expect of an 80% sativa, throwing plenty of frame and structure. A characterful plant to raise, then, if a lightly documented one; the pedigree and the growth habit carry the story where the datasheet leaves off.
