Seb Silverback

Bred from KC 33 and an undisclosed Brazilian female, then crossed again with a KC 606 male and Leda stock — a lineage with more secrets than a filing cabinet. Herbal, lemon and spice dominate the nose, and the high runs focused, tingly and hungry.

Where it comes from

K.C. Brains built this from a lineage with more secrets than a filing cabinet. The parents are KC 33 and an undisclosed Brazilian female, after which the line was crossed again with an early-flowering KC 606 male and then with Leda stock. The result, the breeder says, is a superior plant with pronounced lemon characteristics. The full pedigree stays partly hidden, but the throughline is clear enough: a house-bred cross carrying a distinctive citrus signature.

Nose & flavour

Lemon leads, the superior characteristic the breeder singles out, with a herbal note around it and a spice underneath, all resting on a general sweetness. It is a bright, seasoned profile, the citrus sharp against the herb and the warmth of the spice. A lively, appetising nose that lives up to the lemon billing without turning one-dimensional. Clean and forward.

The high

Focused and clear, with a tingly edge to it and a reliable hunger following on. It is an engaged, working sort of effect rather than a sedating one, the mind sharpened before the appetite arrives. The record keeps the list short, so I will too, but focused, tingly and hungry paints a serviceable picture of a bright, sociable high. Keep something to eat within reach.

Growing it

The record supplies no flowering time, no height and no yield, so I will not invent any of them. What it does give is a THC figure of 20 to 22 percent, firmly in the strong band, and the note that this is a superior plant from a seasoned house. Treat her, then, as a temperament rather than a spreadsheet: a potent, lemon-forward cross of some pedigree, grown on the breeder's reputation and your own judgement of the room rather than on numbers the record declines to provide.
