TGA Subcool spent two years selecting Kush mother plants before settling on the Hells OG cut, then crossed it with Jack's Cleaner and Space Queen, the JTR in the record's shorthand. The result is meant to set the benchmark for a proper sour Kush, and the patience behind it lends the claim some weight. Eighty per cent sativa on paper, despite the Kush billing. A project measured in years, not weeks.
Nose & flavour
The record names no specific notes, so I shall keep to what it offers: the ambition of a sour Kush, benchmarked deliberately against the best of the category. A Kush lineage crossed with Jack's Cleaner rarely wants for pungency, though I will not put flavours in its mouth the record does not supply.
