Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Jack Herer and 2 Fast 2 Vast crossed with select Ruderalis into a stealthy 70% Indica that tops out at 80-100cm — a balcony plant in every sense. Fast and vigorous thanks to its Ruderalis genes, finishing nine to ten weeks from seed. She dislikes the cold but otherwise asks for very little.

Where it comes from

Heavyweight cross Jack Herer and 2 Fast 2 Vast with a select ruderalis line here, a three-way build aimed squarely at the balcony grower. Seventy per cent indica, so the body character leads, with the ruderalis supplying speed and the automatic habit. Jack Herer keeps the head lively. A compact, self-sufficient plant assembled for tight spaces.

Nose & flavour

The record lists no specific notes for the nose, so I shall not conjure any, though a Jack Herer parent seldom disappoints on that front. What it does promise is stealth: a plant compact enough not to announce itself, which is half the point of the exercise. Take the discretion as the feature it is.

The high

Effects go unrecorded, and I will not invent them, but nineteen per cent THC and a seventy per cent indica lean point clearly enough toward the relaxed end. Take the parentage and the ratio as your guide, and approach with the usual measure. The plant does not overstate itself, and neither shall I.

Growing it

A stealth grower that tops out at 80 to 100cm and finishes nine to ten weeks from seed, small enough for a sun-exposed terrace or balcony. Indoors she returns a heavy 600 to 800 g/m²; outdoors, 50 to 80g per plant. She prefers warmth and sun but tolerates anything above ten degrees without sulking. Fast, vigorous and resistant, thanks to the ruderalis. She asks for very little and gives back a good deal.
