How to grow Himalaya Gold
Seb's take
Nepalese crossed with North Indian stock more than twenty years ago, and still a favourite for growers who don't mind a plant that starts indica and finishes looking like a sativa tree. Herbal, orange and pepper notes with a bitter, cocoa-and-tobacco edge; the effect is relaxed, sleepy and focused, a mellow head over a long bodily buzz. Tall enough to want branch support before the end.
Growing Himalaya Gold: what to expect
Feminized photoperiod stock. You control when she flowers, which is a responsibility as much as a convenience; the light schedule guide keeps you on the right side of it.
She takes a conventional 8 weeks to flower. Conventional is underrated; so is knowing what week you're in.
She crops generously — 850 g/m² in capable hands. Capable hands read the feeding guide; generous crops tend to follow.
The listed THC is 12.7% — the gentler end of the scale, stated plainly. Harvest timing moves the needle more than most growers realise.
The nose runs spicy: pepper and warmth over the top of everything else.
Grower reports give her a relaxed lean: unhurried company for an unhurried evening.
