How to grow Green Poison
Taste
Seb's take
Indica-dominant at seventy per cent, and given to blooming almost the moment she's asked to, with resin enough to coat every surrounding leaf. Sweet, skunky and nutty on the nose; the high is relaxed, euphoric and creative, indica weight with a sativa's stem holding it all up. A decorated strain that gets straight to business.
Where it comes from
The record names no parents for this one, so we will let it stand on its own reputation — and by Sweet Seeds' account it has a good deal of that, with prizes gathered across Europe and Latin America over the years. A 70% indica-dominant hybrid that begins to bloom almost the moment it is asked, showing its buds early and building resin from there. What the sativa quarter contributes is structural: a stem and branches strong enough to carry the indica weight above them.
Nose & flavour
Sweet up front, with a skunky depth and a nutty finish underneath — a fuller nose than the sweetness alone would suggest. The resin that coats the buds and the surrounding leaves carries much of that aroma. Pleasant, layered, and generous with itself.
The high
Relaxed, euphoric and creative — indica weight softened by a lift that keeps the mind turning. Not a heavy knockout, but a settled, agreeable state that leaves room for thought. Good company for an evening that wants easing rather than ending.
Growing it
Quick to flower at 49 days, and inclined to start blooming almost immediately, showing buds from the outset. Yields land between 500 and 650 g/m², with resin abundant enough to coat every surrounding leaf. THC runs 15 to 20%, CBD at 0.9%. The record gives no height, but the strong sativa-derived stem means she carries dense colas without complaint. A decorated plant with no interest in dawdling.
