How to grow Green Ninja
Taste
Seb's take
Northern Lights crossed with Afghani, built short and quiet in the way of anyone who prefers not to announce themselves before they've finished the job. Spice and fruit over earth on the nose; the high is relaxed, happy and calming, indica-dominant through and through. Sixty days to flower, and no wasted movement anywhere in that time.
Where it comes from
Northern Lights crossed with Afghani — two names that need little introduction, and between them a great deal of Afghan indica running the show. The Northern Lights side keeps the aromatics restrained, which, paired with a short and bushy frame, is rather the point of a plant called Ninja. It arrives quietly and finishes the job before you have registered it was working. A 70% indica-dominant hybrid with an honest, unshowy pedigree.
Nose & flavour
Spice and fruit sit over an earthy base, and thanks to that Northern Lights heritage none of it travels loudly. The nose is present but discreet — a strain that keeps its aroma close rather than filling the room with it. Pleasant, warm, and not inclined to give itself away.
The high
Relaxed, happy and calming, the indica-dominant sort that settles the evening rather than ending it. There is enough of the 30% sativa to keep the mood bright, but the weight of the effect leans firmly toward ease. Good company for a quiet night with nowhere in particular to be.
Growing it
Sixty days to flower, compact and bushy at 90 to 150cm, with strong branching that fills out into dense, trichome-heavy buds. Yields run 500 to 550 g/m² indoors, or up to 800g per plant outdoors where the harvest comes in late September. THC tests around 22%, with 1% CBD noted on the record. The sturdy branch structure means she carries her own weight without much staking — a tidy, self-sufficient plant.
