How to grow Delicious Candy Early Version
Taste
Seb's take
An earlier-finishing take on the Cheese and Caramelo cross, sweet, spiced, and cheesy on the nose. The high runs relaxed, medicinal, and euphoric at 22.4% THC — grown with more difficulty than her sister version, but ready in a mere 45 days indoors.
Where it comes from
The same parentage as the standard Delicious Candy, Caramelo crossed with a UK Cheese line, reworked here into an earlier-finishing version. The genetics and the sweet-and-cheese character carry over intact; what changes is the speed. Delicious Seeds have kept the 80 percent indica lean and the flavour, and simply pulled the harvest forward. A faster take on a proven cross, for growers short on season.
Nose & flavour
Sweet up front, with a spiced note through the middle and the Cheese funk underneath, a touch more savoury than the standard version, with that dairy tang more present. Confectionery and spice over a cheesy base. A characterful nose that leans richer than pure sugar, and none the worse for it.
The high
Relaxed and euphoric, tipping toward the heavy end as it settles, a proper indica weight behind a listed 22.4 percent THC. This is a sit-down sort of effect rather than a busy one, the kind that keeps you comfortably where you are. Best met of an evening, with nowhere in particular you need to be afterwards.
Growing it
Speed is the whole point: she finishes in a mere forty-five days of flowering while still returning 550 g/m² indoors, or up to 1000g per plant outdoors by early September. She grows as a compact, vigorous Christmas-tree shape with bushy side branches. The record is honest that her growing difficulty is high, so she is better suited to a grower with some miles behind them. Reward the effort and she brings a full crop in remarkably little time.
