Seb's take

Seb Silverback

A.M.S. crossed with Amnesia Haze for a high-yielding Sativa-dominant hybrid built with medical use plainly in mind. Pepper, tobacco and pine on the nose, spiced and earthy throughout; the high is uplifted and energetic, euphoric with a hunger that follows close behind. Effective for pain, and for appetite in the same breath.

Where it comes from

A.M.S. crossed with Amnesia Haze, put together by Strain Hunters into a 60 percent sativa hybrid. The Amnesia half lends the name and the haze-bright head; the A.M.S. steadies it. She carries a full 1 percent CBD alongside a strong THC figure, which softens the edges a little. A name you are unlikely to forget, whatever else the evening mislays.

Nose & flavour

An unusually savoury nose for a sativa-led plant: pepper and a spicy herbal note up front, then earth, dry tobacco and pine underneath. Nothing sweet, nothing fruity. This is the smell of a spice drawer and a pine wood rather than a sweet shop. Distinctive, and rather grown-up for it.

The high

Uplifted and energetic, euphoric at the peak, yet relaxed enough underneath to keep it from tipping into restlessness. A bright, sociable head with a steadying body note beneath. An appetite tends to follow close behind, so it is as well to have something to eat within reach before you begin.

Growing it

Feminized, finishing in sixty-three days, and the yield is frankly enormous: 900 g/m² indoors, one of the largest figures on record here. No height is given, but a 60 percent sativa lineage feeding a yield like that will want serious support, so build the trellis before you need it. THC runs 22.5 percent. This is a plant that repays space, patience and a firm hand at the canopy with a genuinely heavy harvest.
