How to grow Critical Haze
Taste
Seb's take
Amnesia Haze crossed with Critical Mass for a tall, thin plant that can run to three metres given the chance — give her the headroom. Citrus and spice on the nose, sweet earth beneath; the high is uplifted and focused, happy and relaxed. Ten to eleven weeks indoors for buds that are, by all reports, thick with resin.
Where it comes from
Resin Seeds crossed Soma's Amnesia Haze with a vigorous Critical Mass from MNS, and the result is a tall, thin plant that can run to three metres given the chance. The Haze side lends the height and the head; the Critical Mass side lends the density and the resin. A 60% sativa built for the grower with vertical room and the patience a long Haze flowering asks.
Nose & flavour
Citrus and a spicy, herbal note lead, with pine sharpening the edges and sweet earth grounding it beneath. A bright, complex nose that leans more toward the Haze side of the family than the Critical — layered and lively rather than heavy. Plenty going on, and all of it agreeable.
The high
Uplifted and focused, happy and relaxed all at once — a clear, cheerful high with enough weight to keep it civil. She summons an appetite reliably, and keeps the mind engaged rather than adrift. A well-balanced experience, brighter than her indica parent alone would give.
Growing it
She flowers slowly, 70 to 77 days, or ten to eleven weeks indoors, and can grow up to three metres tall — so give her serious headroom, or train her early. The yield is a solid 500 g/m² of thick, resin-heavy bud, and packing up to sixteen tall, thin plants per square metre in a sea of green is the record's route to the maximum. A patient grower's plant, and generous to those who give her the height and the time.
