A regular-seed take on Chem 91's original clone, 60/40 Indica-leaning and built to withstand cold and rough weather better than most. Chemical, diesel, pungent and peppery on the nose; the effect is euphoric, relaxed, tingly and creative. Give her room outdoors and she will reach three metres and reward you generously for it.
Where it comes from
Humboldt Seeds Organization offer this regular-seed take on Chemdawg, a 60% indica, 40% sativa hybrid built from the original Chem '91 clone bred by the influential American breeder Chemdog. Being indica-dominant, she withstands colder and harsher conditions better than most, though she prefers a slightly warmer, semi-humid climate. She does well in a greenhouse or indoors, and given room outdoors she becomes a genuinely monstrous plant, true to the reputation of the line.
Nose & flavour
The nose is heavy and chemical, diesel-forward and pungent, with earthy and skunky notes and a peppery edge underneath. It is a classic Chem profile, all fuel and funk, deep and savoury rather than sweet. A loud, resinous aroma that fills a room and marks her out at once for what she is.
The high
The effect is euphoric and relaxed, with a tingly, uplifted lift and a happy, creative edge running through it. It keeps the mind moving while easing the body, a bright and engaged sort of experience rather than a heavy one. A well-rounded high with genuine character, mobile enough to leave the evening open.
Growing it
A regular-seed plant with monstrous potential, flowering across 65 to 70 days. Given enough room for roots and vegetation, she reaches up to 300cm outdoors and yields 2000 to 3000g per plant, finishing mid-October; indoors she returns a still-generous 400 to 600g/m². THC is stated at 24%. Being a regular line she will throw males, so plan your selection. Give her the headroom and the space she asks for outdoors, and she rewards it more generously than almost anything on the shelf.
