How to grow Chaze Auto
Taste
Seb's take
English Cheese, Oldtimer's Haze and a dash of Stitch0.1 make for a hardy super-autoflower that shrugs off cold and damp outdoors. The nose is sweet and strangely magical, a soft cheese cut with incense; the effect leans Sativa. She grows at a genuinely alarming 3-4cm a day given the room.
Where it comes from
Flash Seeds Bank folded English Cheese and Oldtimer's Haze together with a dash of Stitch0.1 to make Chaze, the name spliced as neatly as the genetics. The result is an 80% sativa super-autoflower, hardy enough to shrug off cold and damp where softer plants would sulk. The Cheese lends the funk, Oldtimer's Haze the reach and the length, and the whole thing is built with the outdoor grower squarely in mind.
Nose & flavour
The nose is sweet and, by the breeder's own description, strangely magical, a soft cheese cut through with incense. It is an unusual, distinctive aroma, savoury and sweet at once, with a smoky, aromatic thread running through it. Not a nose you meet every day, and all the more memorable for it.
The high
The record keeps the effect brief, noting only that it leans sativa, and I will not embroider beyond that. Given the 80% sativa makeup and the Haze in her background, expect the upright, heady side of things rather than the sinking kind. An energetic character is the reasonable reading, though the plant keeps the finer detail to itself.
Growing it
A super-autoflower best suited to outdoor pots of 25 litres or larger, or straight into the ground, and happy to germinate from April through June. She stands tall at 150 to 250cm and, in the best conditions, grows at a genuinely alarming three to four centimetres a day, so give her the headroom before she takes it. The whole life cycle is just under 100 days, flowering across 95 to 100, and her resistance to cold and moisture makes the manicure easy and the outdoor season forgiving.
