Grand Daddy Purp, the house that keeps Ken's Grand Daddy Purple, crossed that GDP with Bay Platinum Cookies for this seventy-five percent sativa. The Grandaddy hands over the deep purple and the frost; the Platinum Cookies lend the sweetness and the bag appeal. It became a genuine hit in the dispensaries of the legal states, and the pedigree explains why: two celebrated names, kept in careful hands.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and pungent with an earthy base, a piney sharpness and a tropical edge over the top, busy, and led by that unmistakable purple aroma the breeder is rightly proud of. The buds are frosted and deep-purple, with the kind of appeal that sells itself across a counter.
The high
Powerful, but oddly companionable with it, happy, uplifted, relaxed, euphoric and energetic, and adaptable enough to serve as a daytime companion once you have found your feet.
