Where it comes from
World Wide Cultivars' Blueberry Strain is built from the original building blocks, Afghani, Thai and Purple Thai, the same landrace-and-Afghan trio behind the classic Blueberry line itself. At 80 percent Indica she keeps that heritage's settled character, growing on a strong central stem with productive side branching in the mostly-Indica plan the record describes. A faithful reconstruction of a foundational recipe, rather than a modern reinvention of it.
Nose & flavour
Sweet berry over a pine depth, the two notes the record singles out, and a fair summary of the family aroma at its most classic. Ripe fruit up front, something greener and more resinous beneath to give it body. Nothing sharp pulling against it; a rounded, straightforwardly pleasant nose.
