Built for cold, rainy ground rather than a heated tent — Early Moroccan crossed with Purple Ice to give one of the fastest-flowering Haze lines going, hence the name. Blue tones show on the leaf as she finishes, the product of a lineage running through Morocco, California, Mexico, Colombia, Thailand and India. Nitro, indeed.
Where it comes from
Sumo Seeds built Blue Nitro Haze for cold, wet ground rather than a heated tent. They began with a Moroccan Sativa crossed to an early Californian pearl to make the Early Moroccan, then took it to Purple Ice, itself a cross of Purple Haze, carrying Mexican, Colombian, Thai and Indian blood, and Lazy Ice, which is Northern Light over White Widow. Trace the whole line and you travel from Morocco to California, Mexico, Colombia, Thailand, India and the Netherlands without leaving the seed packet. The blue on the leaf, and the speed for a Haze, gave her both halves of her name.
Nose & flavour
No aroma notes are set down in the record, and with a family this widely travelled I would rather not guess at the destination. What can fairly be said is that a lineage running this heavily to Haze and old Sativa landrace stock rarely finishes quiet, but the specifics are not on file, so specifics you shall not have from me.
The high
Effects go unrecorded here as well. She is 85 percent Sativa with a Haze spine and 20 to 23 percent THC, which points firmly toward the cerebral end of things, but I will describe temperament rather than promise sensations the record does not vouch for. Approach a Haze of this weight the way you would any unfamiliar staircase in the dark.
Growing it
This is an outdoor plant first and last, bred to shrug off cold and rain where softer strains would rot. She stretches to 200 to 250cm, so she wants open sky rather than a cupboard, and the record sets her flowering at a patient 196 days, quick for a Haze, perhaps, but no sprint by any other measure. The reward for that patience is considerable: yields run anywhere from 600 to a frankly enormous 1000 g/m². Stable and disease-resistant by design, she is a strain for the grower with room, weather to contend with, and time to spare.
