Black Toffee Auto, from Larry Bubba and Gelato #41 Auto, pushes a single commanding cola above tidy conical buds glazed in resin that spreads well onto the leaves. Sweet and coffee-toned with a fruity lift, the effect stays balanced, relaxed enough to settle, focused enough to still be useful. Uplifting rather than sedating, on the whole.
Where it comes from
Black Toffee Auto comes out of Larry Bubba and Gelato #41 Auto, built by Green House Seeds on a foundation of 60 per cent indica, 30 sativa and a 10 per cent ruderalis remainder to set her autoflowering clock. The indica shapes the body and the growth; the sativa keeps the head clear; the ruderalis shortens the cycle without flattening the character. Each part earns its place.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and coffee-toned on the nose, the toffee of the name not entirely fanciful, with a fruity lift threaded through. An after-dinner sort of aroma, rich without being heavy, and pleasant enough to linger over.
The high
Balanced is the operative word: relaxed enough to settle you, focused enough to leave you useful, and uplifting on the whole rather than sedating. Relaxation that supports the day rather than ending it, and returns you to it in reasonable order.
