Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Descended from Skunk lines by way of Wappa, and pungent enough to prove it — sweet, flowery, pine-edged, with resin that coats the throat on the way down. The high runs relaxed and happy toward sleepy, and at up to 18% THC she is not one to underestimate.

Where it comes from

Paradise Seeds autoflowered their Wappa here with Ruderalis, and the record traces the line back to Skunk, the background, it notes, to a great many popular strains. That heritage is the through-line: Wappa's pungency owes plainly to her Skunk forebears, and the autoflowering version keeps it intact. A plant that carries the old Skunk character forward on a shorter, more convenient schedule, and loses none of the aroma in the transfer.

Nose & flavour

Sweet and flowery at the front, with a pungency underneath that gives away the Skunk in her, plus earthy and piney notes for depth. The thick resin coats the throat on the way down, the record notes, a full, mouth-filling flavour rather than a delicate one. Loud, rounded, and true to its lineage. A generous nose, and an honest one.

The high

Relaxed and happy at heart, uplifted and euphoric in the lift, then tending towards sleepy as it settles, a full arc from head to armchair over the course of a session. At up to 18% THC she is not one to underestimate, whatever the flowery nose suggests. A pleasant slide into the evening, best not rushed.

Growing it

A medium plant of around 100cm, flowering in 60 to 70 days for 400 g/m² and 1% CBD. The Skunk lineage brings the resin, thick enough, by the record's account, to coat the throat, which is to say your scissors will not escape unmarked either. A balanced, even-tempered plant with no awkward habits, well suited to a grower who wants a classic character without a long calendar. Straightforward, and generous with the resin.
