How to grow Auto Pineapple Gum
Taste
Seb's take
Skull Ryder, chosen for speed, crossed with Pineapplegum, chosen for its tropical flavour — the resulting resin production is rather more than either parent promised alone. Tropical fruit and sweet pungency on the nose; the high is relaxed, medicinal and euphoric, gum on the scissors a fair warning.
Where it comes from
Two parents with distinct jobs: Skull Ryder, chosen for its speed and fast-finishing autoflowering habit, and Pineapplegum, chosen purely for its tropical flavour. Blackskull Seeds brought the two together, and by the record's account the resin production of the offspring rather exceeded what either parent promised alone. A cross of convenience and taste, in other words, that turned out generous into the bargain. The speed came from one side, the flavour from the other, and the stickiness from neither in particular.
Nose & flavour
Tropical fruit leads, sweet and ripe, with a pungency beneath that keeps it from turning sickly. The Pineapplegum parent was selected precisely for this note, and it carries through cleanly. The heavy resin the record describes coats the buds well, which flatters the aroma further. A dessert nose with a sharper edge than most, and a memorable one.
The high
Relaxed and euphoric, a comfortable, easy sort of experience that settles the body without switching off the mood. At 10 to 15% THC alongside a high CBD figure, the effect stays even-handed rather than heavy, a measured plant rather than a demanding one. The gum on your scissors afterwards is a fair warning of how sticky she runs. Pleasant, level company.
Growing it
A compact plant at 40 to 80cm, finishing quickly in 60 to 65 days, the Skull Ryder speed showing plainly. Yields are given per plant at 30 to 60g, so this is a strain for filling several small pots rather than one large canopy. The resin runs heavy enough to gum up your scissors, so clean them as you were taught. Forgiving of enthusiasm, and well-sized for a discreet corner where a taller plant would draw notice.
