How to grow Atomical Haze
Taste
Seb's take
Original Haze, Indian Sativa and Afghan Indica in a three-way cross that keeps the Sativa's appetite for speed — up to 5cm a day in hydro. Pungent, citrus and berry-sweet on the nose over an earthy base, with a high that runs energetic, tingly and uplifted. A hungry plant outdoors, wanting more feed than most.
Where it comes from
Paradise Seeds built this from a three-way of Original Haze, classic Indian Sativa and a powerful Afghan Indica, eighty percent Sativa in the end. It keeps the traits of its Sativa heritage almost entirely, the Afghan lending only enough weight to steady the frame. The result is a fast, vigorous plant that forms one big central cola with numerous side branches. A well-balanced Haze cross with a landrace pedigree on every side.
Nose & flavour
Pungent, citrus and berry-sweet over an earthy base, a bright and layered profile that leans loud rather than subtle. The citrus leads, the berry sweetens it, the earth grounds the whole. She does not travel discreetly, in the honest Haze fashion, and carries her aroma on buds that come medium-sized, chunky and dense.
The high
Energetic, tingly and uplifted, with a euphoric, happy quality rounding it out, a proper Sativa lift on the strength of that eighty percent heritage. This is daytime company, a high that keeps you engaged and in good spirits rather than settling you down. At 18 to 22% THC there is solid substance behind the energy, without tipping into anything heavy.
Growing it
Sixty-three to seventy days in flower, nine to ten weeks, or the end of October outdoors, with yields to four hundred and fifty grams the square metre. She is fast, capable of five centimetres a day in hydro or aero, so watch her stretch. Height is not recorded, only that she forms one big cola with many side branches. A word of caution: outdoors she is a hungry plant, wanting more feed than most, so keep the nutrients coming. At 18 to 22% THC, a vigorous grow for the attentive.
